The notebook is an account of my first journey to Africa in December 2010, together with lettera27; a little journey made of great conviviality, but also of long silences and whispered voices. Africa seems to be far away until you suddenly realise that many of the things around you are actually Africa. Just think about the sound in which we have always been immersed, the low frequencies permeating our daily life through sound systems, R’n’B, Dub, Hyperdub, which are able to activate intense vibrating environments where body and technology are intertwined.
