Paper mache and gouache on glass Subject/Description
The work is a perfume bottle, made with the papier mâché technique, that is and contains the answers
to the questions: What comes first? My personal answer is “The Essence”, my answer is in the title and the shape of the work, The Paper Essence. I filled the bottle with more than 50 answers written on paper. The human thoughts are also the “essence” of Moleskine, the power of handwriting as an “essential expression of human civilization, a powerful act to unleash human genius and sharing knowledge”. We are almost 8 billion, and I am interested in a joint response of all of us, I want to discover and honour the human journey around this question. Archival Fund
