Natural hairs, mixed technique. Subject/Description
Symbiosis describes a system in which two organisms coexist in a tightly controlled environment. In this scenario, interaction is the very foundation of all life. It is this precise notion of a co-evolutionary relationship between the notebook and the hair that is essential. Despite their inert appearance, these two elements are much more than objects. Because it is the receptacle of a constant flow of ideas, the notebook can be considered a living organism in its own right. The hair reveals itself differently on a microscopic scale: the strange darkness gives way to a living matter that still contains DNA. Archival Fund
