In thinking of the prompt “Can creativity change the world?”, I thought about how the catalyst for true change starts with empathizing with another, witnessing the troubles and hopes of others and seeing yourself in those moments. I believe that creative gestures are a means of giving a piece of one's self to another and allowing an audience an opportunity to see the world as you do. My notebook is filled with black and white illustrations of small moments, visual motifs, and ideas that I find compelling. I intend that viewers get a better understanding of me when they navigate this book and in turn are inspired to share their ideas and have the agency to do so. Archival Fund
