Subject/Description VISIONario is inspired by the Rodari motto, “all uses of the word to all”, which claims the importance of possessing the language because true freedom comes from conquering words. Words can change the way one looks at the world. A papercut notebook that changes face with every word and aims to collect the words that change the world. The work was created for the Circolo dei Lettori di Andria Aps by the artist Nadia Gelsomina, in collaboration with Gigi Brandonisio and Silvana Campanile.
The Circolo dei Lettori di Andria Aps was founded in 2016 to promote reading, creativity, theatre, and art as tools for social change. It operates in the context of socioeconomic hardship, with numerous projects aimed at combating educational poverty and involving the youngest segments of the population.
